Plague League Announces “Young Lion Streamers All-Star Classic” for July

Today Plague League unveiled a new promo video via our YouTube channel introducing our first non-weekly league event. On July 19th we will be producing the inaugural Young Lion Streamers All-Star Classic. The event will bring 8 young, up and coming Magic the Gathering Arena streamers together for a one day, 3 round exhibition tournament.

The event will be a standard format, swiss pairings tournament with every participant streaming live and with no delay. The Plague League Twitch, YouTube and Mixer channels will be co-hosting matches throughout the day, jumping from stream to stream.

Plague League Tournament Organizer Paul “Plague” Miles said, “This event is about showcasing new talent in the game, and in the streaming world, and to build a community of players and viewers”.

Three players have committed to participating in the inaugural Young Lions’ Classic. The presumptive season 1 Monday Night Magic champion Doug Hoffstrom will be joined by Joe “MTGJoeD” Davidson of Quiet Speculation and HamHocks42 of Overthinking MTG. More streamers will be announced as they are confirmed. Until then, go and support the first three players entered in to the Young Lion Streamers All-Star Classic presented by Plague League.
